1. Silicon barium calcium alloy is a new type of high efficiency composite alloy in barium alloys. It is a deoxidizer, desulfurizer, and dephosphorization agent in steelmaking; it is an inoculant and modifier in casting.
2. Barium effectively reduces the vapor pressure of calcium during steelmaking and increases the solubility of calcium in molten steel.
